The City of Clovis’ fall “Trek for Trash” cleanup has been scheduled for Saturday, October 17^th, 2015.   The event will begin at 8:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17^th, 2015 at Parks and Recreation located at 500 Sycamore.

“Every year Trek for Trash has been supported by many volunteer groups and agencies both from the community and Cannon AFB and we have made great strides in cleaning up our town,” advised Commissioner Fidel Madrid, Chairman of the Parks, Recreation and Beautification Committee. “On behalf of the City I would like to encourage everyone to come and join in our Fall Trek for Trash.”

Trek for Trash is sponsored by the New Mexico Clean and Beautiful program and the City of Clovis.   As in previous years, individuals or groups who would like to come and help clean up the community can sign up either before or on the day of the event.
